Audencia (audencia.com) invites applications for a position as Assistant/Associate Professor in Business Development and Growth Hacking. The position is for a full-time, non-fixed term contract and is based in Paris (Saint-Ouen).

Position requirements

We are looking for applicants for a position in Business Development & Growth Hacking.
Applicants shall hold a Ph.D. or a Doctorate.
They shall be able to demonstrate their ability to teach effectively across all levels (from undergraduate to EMBA) and using different modes of delivery. Their teaching and/or research interests should be aligned with the axes of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Audencia’s ECOS strategic plan. The teaching associated with the position will be in English and possibly in French.
They shall have developed or have the ability to develop a track record in publishing case studies and/or research articles.
The applicant should also demonstrate ability to coordinate pedagogical activities.
Interest and particular sensitivity for teaching strategy would also be appreciated.
Dual strategy/business development profile scholars are welcome to apply.
The applicant should demonstrate real abilities to develop an ecosystem and relations with companies around Business Development & Growth Hacking teaching activities.
The position is teaching oriented. Example of teaching topics: selling techniques, sales management, lead acquisition methods and tools, CRM processes and IT solutions, customer experience.

Position overview

The new faculty member will join the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy & Innovation at Audencia.
The research and pedagogy axes of the department are: Entrepreneuring & Strategizing, Futures & Foresight for Innovation, Diversity & Plurality – Context & Identity and Supporting, Financing & Growing.
The department counts 24 members of permanent faculty. The faculty’s recent publications include articles in the Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, British Journal of Management, Human Relations, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Journal of world Business, Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Business Review, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior Research… Faculty members are involved in Editorial boards of top tier International and French Journals and International and French Academic Associations. Our department is also home to two research chairs – Chair in Family Entrepreneurship and Society and Chair in Finance for Innovation. Research active members of our department are supported by our International Affiliate Faculty: Prof. Gideon Markman and Prof. Sarah Jack.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with potential and experience. There are a number of benefits attached to the contract including an individual research budget, the possibility to apply for additional internal funding opportunities, performance-based bonuses and family medical coverage.
