EFER European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC)

JULY 19-25, 2009

Overview

The European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC) is an intensive one week programme, specifically designed for European professors and faculty members seeking to integrate more effective, appropriate and interactive approaches, and practical skills in teaching entrepreneurship. The programme will build on the EFER supported Cambridge “Teach-the-Teachers” programme in 2001 and the Harvard Business School European Entrepreneurship Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning (HBS EECPCL) which ran from 2005-2008. EEC will put a heavy emphasis on the European dimensions of entrepreneurship, interactive entrepreneurship learning approaches and exposure to the real world entrepreneurship practices.

EFER’s current alumni include 279 professors from 142 European institutions and from 41 European countries. EEC 2009 will open to our alumni for application but we will target about 70 participants from 20 different countries across Europe for this programme.

EEC will be managed and delivered by EFER. EEC 2009 is hosted by the University of Maastricht, in close collaboration with RWTH Aachen University and KU Leuven.
